Dearing, GA - McCorkle Nurseries, one of the largest wholesale nurseries in the Southeast, in partnership with the University of Georgia Research Foundation, introduces a Hydrangea macrophylla that provides interest from spring into autumn. Developed by Dr. Michael A. Dirr at the Department of Horticulture, University of Georgia, this breakthrough hydrangea is an open pollinated seedling of ‘Otaksa’. We are pleased to announce the official Plant Patent #15,175 has been issued to the Lady in Red hydrangea. Please note this new information on all further communications regarding this new variety.
